Jill Knapp's "Hello" series of paintings are iconic and fun. Using simple, clean lines and bright colors, these images are perfect for kids, dorks, or dorky kids.
Jill chooses most of her subjects from two-syllable words she loves, and is constantly adding to this series. Stay tuned for Hello Science, Hello Breakfast, Hello Pigeon, and others!

I have a little chicken problem. I really love chickens, but only certain depictions of chickens. I'm not into "country" chickens or "traditional" chickens. I like nutty chickens.
When I bought my first house, I knew it was the right house because the owners had a chicken-themed kitchen. It was meant to be.
I really want to have a chicken as a pet, but my farm-raised boyfriend said that chickens are smelly and annoying. I keep trying to convince him that *my* chicken would be awesome and lovable and potty-trained and fresh-smelling and would sleep on our bed and help with the housework. He doesn't believe me, and I'm not exactly sure why.
Whatever. Boys.
